As Clockwork walked out of the forest, covered in her own blood, she looked around the darkened park to find there was no one around. She limped to the closest tree and sat down. She had lost a lot of blood and was on the verge of passing out. As her world went black she felt she was being watched.
When she awoke from her painful slumber, she was in someone’s arms. A young man in a hoody and goggles was caring her somewhere. “What the hell?!” Clockwork struggled to get out of his grip but the pain in her side forced her not to. “You’re injured pretty badly miss. I saw you and I had to help!” The boy smiled under the mouth piece on his face. “Who are you?” She asked, holding her side. “I’m Ticci Toby! You’re Clockwork right? Jeff told me all about you. He said you don’t like to be touched so if we met he said you’d stab me for hugging you. He also said you don’t like having that many friends so he told me to stay my distance.” Clockwork raised her eyebrow at Toby. “Well if you’re a friend of Jeff’s you’re a friend of mine.”
Toby smiled and looked up at the big house that was very far from the park. “YO JEFF, I’M HOOOOOOOOOOME!” Toby yelled as he swung the door open. Instead of being greeted by Jeff a young girl walked out of the kitchen. “Toby what took you so-” The girl stopped and looked at Clockwork. “Clocky? What the hell are you doing here?” Clockwork smirked as she coughed up blood, which made Toby jump a bit and twitch. “Hi there, Miss M Star Killer.” Star motioned Toby to lay her on the couch as she grabbed the first aid kit. “Another fight?” Star asked as she lifted up Clockwork’s shirt to see the wound. “Like always Star. I do love a fight.” Star rolled her eyes and started cleaning and sewing up the wound. “You are never careful are you? What if next time you end up being the Rake’s lunch?” Star chuckled as Clockwork grinded her teeth on the piece of cloth in her mouth. After she was done, Star cleaned up the blood and handed Clockwork a glass of orange juice. “Here, you’re probably thirsty.” Clockwork grabbed the glass and before she could drink it Toby yelled, “NOOOOOO!” His head hit the table and he fell on the ground. “That’s my OJ!” He sat up and stared at Clockwork. “Toby you have to share, and she’s our guest.” Toby puffed up his cheeks and sighed. “Fiiiiine!” He threw his arms in the air. Toby sighed and got up, walking away. ”I’m gonna go play with smile dog.”
Clockwork looked over at M Star with an awkward expression, “And who the hell is that guy? I mean, I know his name and everything, but what’s his deal? He acts more like a kid than an adult. Err well...Close to one anyway.” M Star sighed and shook her head. “He had some real mental issues as a kid. His sister died in a crash too. He doesn’t seem to remember a lot of things either.” She took a pause, than continued. “His parents never really taught him a lot of things…either that, or he simply doesn’t remember.” She shrugged, “We wouldn’t know because he doesn’t remember!” Clockwork stared slightly. “So…He’s a retard.” She chuckled. “Basically. Well, maybe not mentally challenged, but he’s got issues man.” Suddenly, the two girls looked as they heard footsteps enter the living room.
There stood Slenderman. Clockwork remembered him all too well. His tall slender figure, waving slim tentacles as black as night, slick perfect black suit, and finally his pale expressionless face. He was holding a newspaper in his hands looking distracted; Clockwork was not in his sight yet. “M Star,” He began; his face lifting from the paper. “Do you know where Toby-” He was cut off at the sight of Clockwork. In a flash, he had teleported to the edge of the couch glaring down at her, his tentacles angrily curling in the air. Clockwork could swear she heard him growl in defiance under his breath. “What is SHE doing here?” Clockwork smirked, amused by his annoyance of her company. “Slendy, Toby found her and brought her back here. She’s a guest. Besides just that; she’s wounded and needs to recover.” Slenderman leaned back up and faced M Star. His tentacles slowly straitened back down as he grabbed his newspaper. “Oh and Toby’s outside playing with Smile.” She said as she walked towards Clockwork. Slenderman left the room and went to go check on Toby. “Play nice with Slendy, I don’t want to have to get my scythe out and fight both of you, AGAIN.” M Star sighed as she handed Clockwork a blanket. “Get some what of any sleep you can get.”
Clockwork lied there, tossing and turning on the small couch. “Can’t get any sleep either?” A voice said from the dark. Clockwork grabbed her knife and pointed it at the voice. “T-Toby?” She said, seeing the green glow reflect from his goggles. “Jeez, sorry I scared you.” He chuckled, sitting on the edge of the couch. She noticed he wasn’t wearing his mouth piece anymore. “Where’s your mask?” She asked. He smiled and rubbed the back of his head. “I was hungry! I can’t eat with a mask over my mouth now can I?” They both chuckled. Toby removed his goggles and rubbed his eyes. He blinked and looked at Clockwork, who was just staring at the young boy’s face. “What’s wrong? Do I have something on me?” He said wiping his face. Clockwork shook her head and smiled. “No, I’ve just never seen your face that’s all.” Toby smiled and started talking to Clockwork about amazing ideas. She listened to his crazy stories until she saw the sun start to rise. For some reason, Clockwork saw a different side of Toby then what M Star had told her.
The next morning Toby was sitting outside on the small bridge peacefully until the Rake decided to show his ugly face. “Oh…Uh Hi Rake!” Toby smiled, trying his best not to kill him. “Oh my looks like you got a new friend.” The Rake replied, grinning evilly. “You mean Clocky? Yea she’s really nice once you get to know her.” Toby looked over at the mansion to see Clockwork through the window.  “Do you LOVE her?” The Rake snickered as Toby’s face became a bright red. “I-I barely met her! Yes she’s pretty and a swell lady but still.” Toby pulled his hood down over his face so the Rake wouldn’t see him blush. However, the Rake knew Clockwork and her past. He hated her with a burning passion, so he decided to make her have a little breakdown. “You know,” The Rake began as he walked around Toby. “To get a girl to REALLY like you.” He paused and smirked. “You have to touch them here!” And with that the Rake placed his hand on the boy’s chest. “W-Wait, I have to touch her chest?” Toby asked, still a little skeptical. The Rake nodded and Toby, being the playful idiot believed him and he ran back to the house. “Dumbass.” The Rake chuckled as he watched Toby run back into the house.
As M Star walked out of her room, Clockwork scooted up to her. “What’s a matter Clocky?” She asked as Clockwork smiled. “Well, how can you tell if a guy likes you?” M Star started to giggle as Clockwork’s face became red. Toby walked into the house and smiled when he saw Clockwork. “CLOCKY!” Before she could turn around Toby had his arms around her chest. Clockwork’s memories came flowing back into her mind as M Star pulled Toby off of her. “OW, OW, OW!!!” He yelped as M Star held him up by his collar. Clockwork started to shake and she took off out the front door. “CLOCKWORK WAIT!” M Star shouted but she was gone. “TOBY WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!” She yelled as the boy fell on the floor. “T-The Rake said if I did she would like me a lot more.”  He shrunk down as Star rubbed her temples. “Do you know what happened to her before she became a killer?” Toby shook his head and twitched a bit.
Clockwork ran through the cold forest until she was far away from the mansion. She fell to the ground crying and holding her head. As the shining tears fell down her cheek, the ticking kept her from grabbing her knife. When the tears stopped, she started to cough up blood. Her wound had re-opened and she didn’t notice it was until she stopped crying. As her vision got blurry, footsteps followed her from behind her. The Rake was going to try and kill her. Clockwork grabbed her knives and backed up to a tree. “Now dear, I wouldn’t try it. You’ve lost too much blood already.” He started to laugh as he walked closer to her. Was Clockwork about to really die by this monster? She closed her eye and dropped her knives. She had given up on life: her painful memories, the blood loss, and the crying made her too weak to even care anymore. Before the Rake made her his lunch a hatchet came flying at the Rake. The Rake growled as they both looked at who had thrown it. “You dirty liar! Don’t you dare touch her!” Toby had his other hatchet ready as the Rake smirked. “Fine, but I’d hurry before your friend dies of blood loss.” With that the Rake ran off. Toby grabbed his hatchet out of the ground and walked over to Clockwork. She tried to get away from him but he was just faster than her. Before she could escape he had his arms around her. “I’m sorry. The Rake tricked me into doing that and I didn’t know about your past.” Clockwork’s eye widened as she hugged him back. Toby picked her up and went back to the mansion.
